Para conmemorar el Día Nacional de las Personas Sordas que se cumple el 19 de septiembre, se recibió a representantes de la Asociación de Sordomudos y a integrantes del Programa de Inclusión Laboral de la Legislatura Provincialde San Juan.
Se está organizando el “Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol Silencioso” que se llevará adelante a mediados de noviembre en el Estadio del Bicentenario en San Juan.
Es la primera vez que esta competencia se desarrollará en un estadio profesional y esto es muy significativo, en él participarán representantes de Salta, Misiones, Corrientes, Santa Fe, y San Juan entre otras provincias.
El evento cuenta con el apoyo de la Legislatura Provincial, y la colaboración de la Subsecretaría de Deportes, Recreación y Turismo Social y el Ministerio de Infraestructura.
I am a sports fanatic, but I must confess I had no idea about this type of sport (let alone that this championship is taking place in San Juan) I firmly believe that doing physical activity is a right our government should guarantee to all of us. Playing sports brings a number of benefits regarding health and social life; but most importantly it teaches us a number of things too. Athletes learn to be disciplined, to work hard, to respect others and to value our achievements. I think this is the best way to complement the education we receive at school and at home. People learn things from a variety of places and people, so the more exposed they are to different meaningful groups of people and environments (such as a sport club) the better their chances to learn something positive. That is why I would definitely encourage everyone, physically impaired or not, to play a sport.
ReplyDeleteAs well as my classmate Camila, I had no idea about "Futbol Silencioso". But I consider this initiative of encouraging deaf people to play a sport to be really inetresting and helpful for them. I think that through this kind of experiences deaf people can feel they can play sports as well as not deaf people and is a way of making them socialize with peers. Particularly, I am a big fan of sports and I have always believed that playing sports has a positive influence both for health and socialization. In my opinion, "Futbol Silencioso" will pave the way for the inclusion of other sports apart from football, and will give the chance to physically impaired people to enjoy practising a sport.
